When referring to ‘customer’, ‘you’ or ‘your’, this shall be deemed as reference to any persons accessing the blackShed gallery Website and any persons placing an order via the blackShed gallery Website or in person.
These terms and conditions govern the use of the blackShed gallery Website and apply to all items purchased from the blackShed gallery.

Weights, dimensions and descriptions of goods given by us to you for any purpose are stated in good faith but are approximate only and will not bind the blackShed gallery in any way. We reserve the right to withdraw, or amend, the specification of any goods without further notice to you.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on the blackshed gallery Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, tablet or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s, tablet's or mobile device's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery or collection.
All sizes and measurements are approximate.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the blackShed gallery Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.
All information and advice either published on the blackShed gallery Website, sent to you by email or shared with you over the phone has been supplied in good faith and can only be interpreted as general guidance.
Prices
Product prices include VAT, but exclude delivery charges. Customers will pay postal/shipping costs when delivery is required. Displayed postal/shipping costs are not inclusive of VAT.
All prices are correct at time of publishing, but may change due to administrative errors or circumstances beyond our control.
The blackShed gallery does not accept international deliveries outside the United Kingdom and any purchase to a location outside the United Kingdom will be refused.
Placing an order
The blackShed gallery may modify the terms and conditions on the blackShed gallery Website without notifying you. You agree to periodically review these terms and conditions to be aware of any such revisions. Your use of the blackShed gallery Website after any such revision(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of and agreement to abide by all such revisions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including without limitation measurements, dimensions, product features and delivery.
The blackShed gallery is not responsible for any implications resulting from incorrect details and aspects of your order. When you place an order on the blackShed gallery Website we shall email you an order confirmation. If you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation, and you wish to make changes to your order, please contact us at mail@theblackshedgallery.org.uk and we will use our reasonable endeavours to make the requested changes.
We reserve the right to refuse an order or changes to your order. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you.
We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.
To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information and also provide a valid delivery address and a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us.
Collection & Delivery
Any prices displayed for items online are for collection only from the blackShed gallery, Russet Farm, Redlands Lane, Robertsbridge, United Kingdom, TN32 5NG.
Please see our opening hours for collection times. For collections outside these hours please contact us. We are happy to hold items after purchase but please contact us if you cannot collect within 1 week, beginning with the date of purchase.
If you purchase something and would like it delivered, we outsource our deliveries of small items to Royal Mail, Second Class. Our large item deliveries are outsourced to Parcel Force, 24 hour tracking. References to ‘large’ on item descriptions are not conclusive of that item being defined as large for delivery purposes.
Prices are subject to changes in Royal Mail and Parcel Force current rates. Please check prices upon checkout.
The blackShed gallery shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the property.
Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed .
Risk of loss or damage
The blackShed gallery carries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.
Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and we hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.
Returns
Online orders:
Our shop consists of contemporary artworks and one-off pieces that may be presented with signs of age and wear intentionally. We do our best to describe and/or photograph any imperfections in our product pages. However do not hesitate to request more photos or ask for more information before purchasing.
All goods purchased online are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only. You should inspect the goods upon delivery and check that no items are damaged. If goods are damaged you should accept delivery and contact us on mail@theblackshedgallery.org.uk with photographic evidence of the damaged goods within 24 hours of delivery. A member of our team will then discuss your options with you.
We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage. You must check the product for faults before installation. Should you believe that your item is faulty you should contact us on mail@theblackshedgallery.org.uk with a description of the problem and photographic evidence within 28 days of delivery.
Please note you will be fully responsible for payment of all return shipping costs.
Any item should be returned in a saleable condition and in its original packaging, if the item returned meets our return terms, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the goods are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost.
In person purchases:
If you buy in person from our gallery then you are buying the item as seen. If you later wish to return the item, please contact us on mail@theblackshedgallery.org.uk. The blackShed gallery reserves the right to refuse returns of in person purchases. If the blackShed gallery consents to the item’s return, it must be returned to us within 14 days of collection and be in its original condition to qualify for a refund. Any costs incurred by the customer for delivery charges cannot be refunded.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
